Visit by Dr Katja Böhler

She has been in office since December last year, and now the new State Secretary for Research, Innovation and Economic Development at the TMWWDG, Dr Katja Böhler, came to visit the Center for Energy and Environmental Chemistry Jena (CEEC Jena) for the first time. After a brief presentation of the most important milestones of the battery research centre, she primarily discussed future projects and strategic issues with Director Prof. Dr. Ulrich S. Schubert.

Our work became particularly vivid in the laboratories themselves, where she was able to see how our polymer-based energy storage devices are manufactured and researched. And of course, a tour of the construction site of our CEEC Jena II was not to be missed.

We look forward to working closely together and to many more visits!
