Since 1995 the Kultur- und Sozialstiftung Internationale Junge Orchesterakademie (IJOA)External linkhas been organizing annual Easter concerts for children suffering from cancer and serious illness as part of the "Bayreuth Easter Festival". Since 2009 the IJOA has been performing in Jena with great success.
